HOW DOES THE SILVERSTREAKS DEBIT CARD PROGRAM WORK?
Customers in the program will receive a Silverstreaks debit card - outfitted with the iconic “O” of the school logo! Every time the card is used, a small portion of each purchase will be donated to the Osakis Silverstreaks Foundation. Each year, First National Bank of Osakis will showcase the total amount raised so we can celebrate our impact… together! By choosing your Silverstreaks card over other cards in your wallet, you will be able to make a greater impact for our local students!
WILL I HAVE TO PAY MORE WITH A SILVERSTREAKS CARD?
No, Silverstreaks cardholders will be able to make a difference without spending more! The funds generated by the program will come from the debit cards interchange fees—small charges that are already built into every debit card transaction. Since these fees are automatically applied, the total purchase amount remains the same for the cardholder. As the issuer of the card, First National Bank of Osakis is proudly contributing a portion of their fee income to the Foundation.
HOW DO I GET A SILVERSTREAKS CARD?
Current Customers: Simply request a Silverstreaks debit card for your checking account. There will be no cost for customers to upgrade their card to a Silverstreaks card from now until June 30, 2025. After that date, a $15 reorder fee will apply. Request your Silverstreaks card today!

WILL MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER CHANGE?
If you have an existing FNB Osakis debit card and choose to upgrade to a Silverstreaks card, your debit card number WILL change. If you have payments tied to that old card number, you will need to update those payments.
WHAT IS THE OSAKIS SILVERSTREAKS FOUNDATION?
The Osakis Silverstreaks Foundation was created to help raise additional revenue for the Osakis Public Schools through grants. Their mission is to enhance opportunities for students, educators and the Osakis District. Funds raised go to a variety of areas- academics, arts, athletics, auxiliary and general funds.
